Confirmation of the split after what will be four seasons has been provided by Ganassi managing director Mike Hull, who told Autosport that “we are ending this chapter” of a long relationship with Cadillac parent company General Motors that has straddled IndyCars, NASCAR and Extreme E as well as sportscars.

The General Motors marque has revealed that it will not nominate a full-season partner for Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn in the solo Ganassi-run Cadillac V-Series.R LMDh .

Palou will be the fourth driver in a squad that features regular IMSA SportsCar Championship season drivers Sebastien Bourdais and Renger van der Zande, along with six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon for the Floridian sportscar classic on 27-28 January.
