Mukhtar Ahmad Shah, 42, from Kupwara’s Karnah was shot dead by unknown gunmen. The police said that they suspected that he was killed by “some rival narcotics smuggling gang members or rival terror operatives”. His brother was a militant operating from Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
