Joey Logano won last weekend at Atlanta, completing a last-lap pass on Brad Keselowski to become the first Ford driver to reach Victory Lane this season.

Five races into the season, Toyota remains the only manufacturer without a victory but in Sunday’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the OEM had several drivers in the mix for the win at the end of the race.

Keselowski was in control of Sunday’s race as the laps wound down but Logano – who led for 140 of the 260-lap contest, taking the Stage 1 win in the process – had worked his way back into contention.

Logano, the next-to-last car to go out in the final round of qualifying, won the pole for Sunday’s Cup race at Atlanta with an average lap speed of 177.374 mph edging his Penske teammate Austin Cindric (177.340 mph).

Chevrolet has dominated the year so far, winning the first four races on the schedule for the first time since 2001.

Larson, who was fastest in Friday’s practice session at Phoenix Raceway, followed that up with a perfect qualifying performance on Saturday.

Larson, among the first cars on the track in the 50-minute session, led the way at 131.257 mph.
