Bell, who had won in his last three starts at the 1.058-mile oval, restarted third at the start of a two-lap overtime behind Cole Custer and Sheldon Creed.

As the race went into a second two-lap overtime, Truex lined up on the front row with leader Carson Kvapil, who was making just his second series start.

Sam Mayer led on the restart to overtime, but Sheldon Creed dived inside of Mayer to make the field three-wide as he tried to get him and Almirola. Instead, Creed nearly caused himself and Mayer to spin out.

Mosack, who only began racing at age 17, took control of Friday’s 100-lap race and lapped every car in the field except for second-place finisher Carson Kvapil, who was making his series debut.
