The opening date has been confirmed for a new Nottinghamshire Indian restaurant which has been described as the "first of its kind" in the local area. Gordon Road on West Bridgford will be home to a new branch of The Bombay Sweet Centre, serving dishes including Indian breakfasts and samosas.
Nottinghamshire Live previously reported on excitement from people living in West Bridgford about the arrival of the delicatessen. The business will be based in a shop that was once home to a hairdressers.
The business first opened on Radford Road in 1995, with the West Bridgford location being its second. The company has now confirmed that its Gordon Road branch will first open on Friday (May 5).

The Radford Road branch is open from 11am until 7:30pm in the week, whilst opening times at the weekend are 10am until 7:30pm on Saturday and 11am until 5pm on Sunday. As well as classic options, the eatery will be serving a full range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free choices.
