North Lanarkshire community arts classes to resume with brand new programme

North Lanarkshire Council’s community arts classes are re-starting after the Easter break with a new programme until June.

Classes in visual arts, ceramics, photomedia and performing arts will get underway later this month.

Highlights of the programme include Mind Music Soul, a weekly inclusive social group supporting people living with dementia, returning to Cumbernauld at Muirfield Community Centre.

'The Arts & You' initiative will also include guitar and ukulele classes for both adults and children returning to Wishaw, as well as a new multimedia class exploring the various aspects of photography, filmmaking, and animation at Summerlee Photomedia Studio in Coatbridge.

Classes can be booked week-to-week or as a block and are available to book online now.

For more information on the Arts & You programme, or to book a class, call 01698 274 545.
