Cheating in a relationship is understandably an absolute dealbreaker for most people.
But for some, it's a case of one rule for one and another for the other.
That's certainly how one man sees it, having admitted that while he is currently cheating on his wife with other people, he would divorce her in a heartbeat if she ever did the same.
The man, known only as Peter, is even a member of a dating site for married people who are looking to have an affair.
"No one wants to know they're being cheated on," he said. "Personally, I wouldn’t forgive my wife if I found out she was having an affair and I know that sounds rich coming from someone who is actually cheating, but I just don't think I could bear the thought of her being with someone else.
"I'd be asking for a divorce straight away, and I think she'd do the same, which is why I'm being so discreet about my shenanigans."
But the man, who is a member of IllicitEncounters.com, better watch out as cheating partners regularly get caught through the most mundane actions.
One woman recently revealed how she exposed her husband's alleged adultery after finding what she believed was evidence of an affair in an innocent-looking photograph.
Taking to TikTok, the woman explained how her husband was spending a night away in a hotel after visiting a casino.
During his stay, he sent her some pictures of himself in the bathroom of his suite and unwittingly revealed his alleged betrayal.
"My husband sent me pics trying to look all cute in his suite at the casino, but I noticed some odd things, now he is single," she wrote. "Can you guess what it is?"
She then shared a look at two selfies he took in the bathroom's mirror, with his face scribbled out to keep his identity secret.
As social media users were quick to point out, there was a pair of hair straighteners on the bathroom counter in the mirror's reflection.
Replying to the video, which has been watched over four million times and garnered more than 13,000 comments, one person said: "Hair straightener looks pretty sus."
Another replied: "I SAW THE STRAIGHTENER IMMEDIATELY."
A third wrote: "Oooofff the straightener and the detangling comb."
