A three-year-old girl has been killed when the car her parents were driving suddenly came off the road and crashed into a tree.
Ada Louise Margaret Bovair, from Bluntisham in Cambridgeshire, was travelling in the Volvo XC60 on the A14 when the incident happened on Sunday August 28 at around 11am.
All three were rushed to hospital in critical conditions.
Despite the efforts of the team of doctors, Ada died on Friday, September 2.
Her mother in her 30s, who was driving, and father in his 40s, who was a front seat passenger, remain in hospital, as Cambridgeshire Police continue their enquiries into the tragedy.
The mother remains in a critical but stable condition while the man has serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police told The Mirror: “Ada Louise Margaret Bovair was travelling in a Volvo XC60 with her mother and father when the crash happened at just before 11am on the westbound carriageway.
"The vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Ada suffered serious injuries and died on Friday afternoon (2 September).
"Her mother, who was driving, and father, who was a front seat passenger, remain in hospital, the former in a critical but stable condition and the latter with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage of the moments leading up to it, are urged to contact police online via web chat or call 101 quoting reference 182 of 28 August."
