FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday asked the attorney general’s office and Texas Rangers to investigate Election Day problems in Harris County.

The Braves are bringing Kolby Allard back to their organization, reacquiring him in a trade Wednesday that sent pitcher Jake Odorizzi and cash to the Texas Rangers.

The inquiry will help determine whether criminal charges should be brought against responding officers.
