The group of orphans were taken from Ukraine by the Dnipro Kids charity, who plan to bring them to Scotland.

Dnipro Kids had hoped to be able to fly the 52 orphans – who are aged between one and 18 – and their carers from Warsaw in Poland on Monday but their plans have been delayed.

The Dnipro Kids charity is working with Stirling Council to give the youngsters a refuge away from the war in their homeland.
