Amarise Parker, who was reported missing from the 10900 block of South Wood Street, was last seen on Aug. 30 when she left her home after coming home from school, according to a Chicago police missing persons alert.

The man, 35, suffered gunshot wounds to the head and back.

Officers found the man unresponsive in the 6700 block of South East End Avenue.

She was taken to a hospital in good condition after the shooting, which happened in the kitchen of an apartment.

The man, 23, was shot in the chest about 3:50 p.m. while in the 2200 block of East 68th Street.

The man, 25, was in a vehicle about 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 7800 block of South Jeffery Boulevard when he was shot multiple times in his body, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The two were outside about 10:45 a.m. when a group of people opened gunfire on them.

In an amended suit, South Shore residents accuse the city of violating zoning ordinances and creating a public nuisance by placing new arrivals in schools, police stations.
