The FDA have recalled cantaloupe melons after cases of salmonella have been linked to the fruit

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recalled the products linked to the outbreak and warned consumers not to eat, sell or serve them.

At least 17 people in more than a dozen states were hospitalized with salmonella poisoning linked to recalled whole and pre-cut fruit. The recalled products were sold in the U.S. and Canada.
