Modi flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram, the five states where assembly elections were held recently.

Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati said seven broad areas of thrust encompassing six basic needs would be accorded importance in the next five years while addressing the first session of the newly constituted ninth Legislative Assembly.

ZPM led by Lalduhoma wins 27 seats in Mizoram assembly polls, likely to be sworn in as CM on Friday. MNF dethroned with 10 seats, BJP and Congress trail with 2 and 1 seats respectively. Over 8.57 lakh voters exercised their franchise with 82% turnout.
