President Donald Trump is once again shaking up Wall Street’s rule book. This week, he called for U.S. companies to ditch quarterly earnings reports and switch to a six-month schedule instead. "This will save money and allow managers to focus on properly running their companies," he wrote on Truth Social.

Media startup Minute Media, backed by BlackRock (NYSE:BLK) and Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is betting big on that trend with its Sept. 9 acquisition of VideoVerse, an Indian AI company valued between $200 million and $250 million.

BlackRock is doubling down on the rapidly expanding active ETF universe with the launch of two mutual fund stalwarts as ETFs. This shift comes as U.S. Treasury yields have been declining, causing changes across the credit markets.
