MANILA, Philippines – After undergoing a dramatic transformation and assuming a new identity to boot, the man formerly known as Xander Ford has returned to his roots as Marlou Arizala.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Marlou shared a photo of him with the other members of Hasht5, the boy band parody group that he initially became known with in 2015. (WATCH: Rappler Talk Entertainment: Xander Ford)
"I think we are ready to perform," he said in the caption.
Meanwhile, Hasht5 posted a quick video on their new Facebook page saying "Comeback is real! Zander with Hasht5ive."
They have also been posting live videos with Marlou, teasing his return to the group.
Marlou left Hasht5 in 2016 to pursue a solo career, but it was in 2017 when Marlou truly shot to fame. In October of that year, his cosmetically-enhanced face took over the internet, after he underwent surgery to change his nose, chin, eyebrows eyelashes, teeth, and lips.
Along with a new face, he took on a new name: Xander Ford.
It was a name Star Image took back from Marlou in April after putting him on suspension for his alleged bad behavior. The agency then said that they were looking for "the next much deserving Xander Ford." – Rappler.com
