Just when we thought winter was finally behind us, the UK was hit with a nasty cold spell this week which saw some areas covered in snow and had us all grabbing our blankets and favourite hot drinks to keep us warm.
And as the weather continues to be as unpredictable as ever, one woman on TikTok has shared her recipe for the "best hot chocolate of your life", which is perfect for staying cosy in the cold.
Rowan Ellis makes her indulgent hot chocolate by using just a few simple ingredients that won't break your bank - including an instant hot chocolate powder that she picked up at Lidl.
In a video posted to Rowan's @heyrowanellis account, she said: "I'm back in the kitchen and back on my bulls**t, let's make the best hot chocolate of your life.

"I've been making this hot chocolate before I go to bed every night for the past week, and I highly recommend it if you too need a silly little treat to give to your silly little human form as a reward for getting through the day.
"First of all, let's talk about hot chocolate mix. I'm sure there are purists out there who will say you have to use melted chocolate to make hot chocolate. But no. If you get a hot chocolate mix that works as well as this does, you will not need to do that.
"I am, of course, talking about the hot chocolate mix from Lidl.
"I'm aware that to some people who don't know how good Lidl is that might sound like a joke, but if you know, you know. The chocolate that Lidl does is elite level, and this hot chocolate mix is no exception."
The secret to making the drink taste out of this world? A few controversial additions such as coffee and salt.
Rowan added: "You'll also need your flavour boosters and your flavour additions, should you want them.
"This is the holy grail of flavour boosting chocolate. You can't taste any of them in the actual drink but they all serve to boost the flavour of the chocolate itself.
"We have vanilla to make the notes of sweetness in the chocolate a bit more complex, salt to take the edge off that sweetness, and then a tiny bit of coffee or espresso.
"I don't like coffee but you cannot taste it. This isn't like a mocha. If you don't like coffee, don't worry, you won't be able to taste it. It just boosts the rich, dark, bitter notes of the chocolate and makes it taste a lot more luxurious."
The woman then says you can also add any additional flavours you might like such as peppermint essence, cinnamon, or a fancy syrup like the ones you might see in a coffee shop.
To make the mixture, Rowan fills her mug with milk to gauge the amount she needs and then adds three to four heaped teaspoons of the Lidl hot chocolate mix to a saucepan.
Next, she adds a splash of the milk into the pan and stirs it to create a paste, which helps to eliminate any "dry spots or lumps" in the end result.
Rowan then adds the rest of the milk to the pan before adding a "tiniest pinch" of coffee, a "little shake" of salt, a "touch" of vanilla, and "a bit" of cinnamon.
She said: "And that's it! Just make sure the mixture doesn't start simmering or boiling. You just want it hot enough for you to drink."
Commenters on the TikTok video were blown away by the indulgent recipe, with many also praising Lidl as a "top tier" shop.
One person said: "I was needing a silly little treat when I saw this, went to make it right away, can confirm it's great! And also made me soooo sleepy."
While another added: "Lidl is a top tier shop."
"I bought some Lidl hot chocolate last week and it's heavenly!," a third stated.
