We're all aware of the deliciously tasting takeaway coffees - from Starbucks to Costa - which we have to pay a small fortune for the pleasure of. Unfortunately, it's often the case for many of us that making a warm drink at home for ourselves just doesn't quite hit the same.
Thankfully, a Tesco shopper has stumbled across a life-changing hack, which she shared to popular video-streaming service TikTok, and it dramatically lowers the price of hot beverages while taking the advantage of the supermarket 's popular £3 meal deal. Driving instructor Becky said she was unaware of the correlation between discounts and Costa drinks - and it appears a number of other users also "never realised".

In the video, which has already surpassed 315,000 views to date since posting, the TikToker detailed how she was none the wiser about the money-saving tip until her latest trip.
A regular takeaway from the Costa drink costs nothing other than a small fortune - £3.05.
However, for those who have a Tesco Clubcard, you may be surprised to discover that the drink is available within the £3 meal deal cost - which also includes a main (often a sandwich or pasta) and a snack.
Taking advantage of the hack, you'll not only be saving yourself 5p, but you'll also be benefitting from a free lunch on top.
The woman explained: "So, I just went into Tesco to get a Costa express coffee. Costa express coffee regular - £3.05.
"Make it a meal day - and with your Tesco Clubcard it costs £3," she added.
"So, I've got a salad, chocolate bar and a coffee for £3 - instead of £3.05 for just the coffee. Win!"
Budding shoppers rushed to the comment section of the post to gush over the little-known tip as they shared their gratitude with TikToker Becky.
"Now THAT is useful information…thank you!" One user explained.
A different user wrote: "Omg I never realised that before… will definitely remember that."
"I did not know you could get the Costa drinks on meal deal!!!" A third agreed.
Another commented: "The Tesco meal deal is sacred. If that goes up, we'll know society is finally done."
