A woman was taken to hospital after being "safely retrieved" from a car that entered the water in Bangor.
The emergency services were called to the incident at Ballyholme at around 8.20pm last night following reports that a black Nissan had entered the sea.
The police, Coastguard and RNLI attended the scene where the female driver of the vehicle was safely retrieved from it.

She then attended hospital as a precaution.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police in Bangor received a report of a car, a black Nissan, in the sea at 8.20pm on Saturday February 18th at Ballyholme.
"The female driver of the vehicle was safely retrieved and attended hospital as a precaution."
A Coastguard spokesperson said: "HM Coastguard assisted Northern Ireland Police Service with an incident involving a car in the sea at Ballyholme Beach yesterday evening (18 th February).
"The coastguard rescue team and RNLI inshore lifeboat from Bangor were sent to help."
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 20:29 on Saturday 18 February following reports of an incident in the Ballyholme area of Bangor.
"NIAS despatched an Emergency Crew to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken by ambulance to Ulster Hospital Dundonald."
