Recent reports from the American University of Beirut Hospital reveal a distressing scene outside the premises. A woman was seen sitting on the pavement, visibly distraught and being comforted by her family members. She shared that her son was inside the hospital receiving treatment for injuries sustained on his face and hands, although she chose not to disclose their identities.

Witnesses present at the scene noted that the injuries among the victims were consistent, primarily affecting the face, hands, and waist. When approached for an on-camera interview, a man accompanying the woman expressed frustration, questioning the purpose of discussing the incident further. He emphasized the criminal nature of the events but expressed skepticism about the likelihood of any meaningful action being taken by authorities.

The emotional turmoil and sense of helplessness among those affected by the incident are palpable, reflecting a broader sentiment of outrage and disillusionment with the current state of affairs. The community's collective grief and frustration underscore the urgent need for accountability and justice in the face of such senseless acts of violence.
