He already has super famous parents in Zoe Ball and Norman Cook but Woody is hoping to leave his parents shadow.
The 18-year-old will appear as a contestant on Channel 4's latest series of The Circle and move into a Salford apartment for the next couple of months.
Originally from Brighton, Woody is the eldest son of BBC Radio 2 star Zoe and DJ Norman Cook - aka Fatboy Slim.
He is going to play as himself in the show but will keep his family's identity a secret from his fellow players because "he wants to do this for himself and not be pre-judged or to live in their shadow."
Describing himself as a likeable warm, friendly guy, Woody's game plan is to befriend everyone in The Circle in the hope he will become the most popular.
He said: "I'm going to be friendly me, post lots of photos of me having fun rather than trying to look attractive.
"I'm just going to be Woody from Brighton."
The student came out as bisexual at the start of the year and he thinks that "being bisexual helps talking to girls and it doubles the pool of people I can flirt with."
Speaking about what advice his parents have offered him, Woody added: "They said that what you say on TV is out there forever and you can't unsay it and that once you share too much you never unshare it."
The Circle's live launch show airs on Tuesday, September 24, at 9.15pm on Channel 4. It will then air at 10pm weeknights from thereafter.
