We don't need the stars to tell us the Bridgerton spinoff is divine, but we're curious: which Queen Charlotte character are you based on your star sign?
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, which follows the love story of Her Majesty (India Amarteifio) and King George III (Corey Mylchreest), debuted on Netflix on Thursday, May 4, and since then, we've been enthralled with the latest romance in the Regency-based series.
"It was really bizarre and surreal—Bridgerton is its own universe, like Marvel," Amarteifio revealed to British Vogue about landing the lead role. "It felt so unreachable, and it didn’t feel real for the longest time. It was probably when I went in for my first costume fitting that I thought, 'Okay, this is actually happening.'"
But the show is about so much more than romance. The Shonda Rhimes-backed project touches on race, class, sexuality and mental health, all likely taboo subjects in Regency England. And like the storyline, Queen Charlotte's characters are just as diverse. Here's which Ton resident you're most like, according to your zodiac sign.
Which 'Queen Charlotte' character are you based on your star sign?
Wellness experts at Eden’s Gate worked alongside celebrity psychic and astrologer Inbaal Honigman to uncover where each star sign stands. Here are the results!
When you're finished, be sure to have a listen to the Queen Charlotte soundtrack and grab a copy of Queen Charlotte by Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes (available on Amazon).
Aries: Brimsley
An Aries is "fun-loving, innocent" and likes to live according to their rules. Does this sound like a certain footman (played by Sam Clemmett) we know?
Taurus: Reynolds
Speaking of beloved royal butlers, Brimley's love interest Reynolds (Freddie Dennis) is a trustworthy confidant, which resembles qualities of a calm, traditional Taurus.
According to Honigman: "Reynolds’ loyalty and devotion to the king means he can be relied on for good advice and sensible ideas."
Gemini: Young Queen Charlotte
In Honigman's words, Gemini is a "vibrant and active sign, always on the go." Coincidentally, young Queen Charlotte is on the go right as she meets King George!
In real life, actress India Amarteifio is a Virgo, unlike her character, but she does have similar qualities to a curious, sociable Gemini.
"You hear about the Bridgerton world and the sphere, and it's quite daunting, but I was excited,” Amarteifio told InStyle Australia about the role. “I'm always up for a challenge.”
Cancer: Lady Danbury
Cancers love nothing more than having home and family closely intertwined, which is why the water sign reminds Honigman of Lady Danbury (played by Adjoa Andoh in her elder years). After all, underneath that tough shell, the crab is all soft belly.
"She's formidable and a little scary, but once close enough to her, you’ll find she’s a lovable lady," Honigman says.
Leo: Adolphus
A Leo can never resist a little bit of attention, but the fire sign is certainly passionate when it comes to those they love.
"Those born under the sign of the Lion are also sunny and generous, sharing their good fortune with others, just like Adolphus does with his sister," Honigman says.
Virgo: Lady Violet Bridgerton
"She is very warm and wise as well as very organized and direct," Honigman says.
That certainly makes sense for the matriarch of the family, considering she's the one who started it all. Would you really expect anything less from Lady Bridgerton?
(Confession time: we'll admit we still sometimes have a hard time keeping track of the Bridgerton siblings.)
Libra: Young Lady Danbury
"With her keen knowledge of the intricacies of marriage, the young Lady Agatha Danbury exudes the Libran charm," Honigman notes of the character, played by Arsema Thomas in her younger years.
"Those born under the sign of the Scales are elegant and sociable, and understand human relationships and can work them to their advantage."
Scorpio: Young King George
Young King George—and the man behind the role, Corey Mylchreest—are certainly having a moment. We love his kind ways (and handsome looks!), even though he can be a little bit of a mystery, a classic Scorpio.
"Those born under this zodiac are attractive and enigmatic, whilst oozing charisma, and maintaining an emotional complex," Honigman adds.
Sagittarius: Coral
Sags are "fun and witty and full of life," which is the vibrant and optimistic Coral (Young Agatha's loyal maid and trusted confidant, played by Peyvand Sadeghian) to a T.
Capricorn: Adult Queen Charlotte
It's no surprise that Honigman senses Capricorn tendencies in the leader of the Ton; in her later years, Queen Charlotte (played as an adult by Golda Rosheuvel) is practical, determined and nothing stands in her way. Her Majesty, and Caps in general, as the "movers and shakers of their generation," says the astrologer.
Aquarius: Adult Brimsley
We have a special place in our hearts for the Queen's longtime footman, Brimsley (played as an older man Hugh Sachs), whom appears in both Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte. While drama unfolds throughout each episode, we've learned to love and appreciate his devotion and commitment.
Aquarians, like Brimsley, "are devoted to doing the right thing, whilst keeping to themselves," Honigman says.
Pisces: Lord Ledger
Honigman does not hesitate to suggest the "ravishing charm" of Lord Ledger makes him a Pisces, including his loving relationship with his daughter, young Violet.
"Pisceans are the final sign of the zodiac, and therefore seen as the most mature and parental. Those born under the sign of the Fish also have a love of mysticism," she notes.
