Sharon Osbourne has unexpectedly pulled the plug on her entire talk show tour, just hours before she was due to kick off the first show in Stockholm.
The 72-year-old TV icon was all set to launch her Cut The Crap tour this week, with a string of dates across Europe that promised to dive into the “most challenging years” of her famously dramatic life. But without warning, every single date has now been cancelled, reported Metro.co.uk.
While no official reason has been confirmed, a venue in Oslo told The Mirror the cancellation was believed to be down to a “family issue.” To add to the confusion, even Sharon’s own spokesperson admitted they weren’t sure why the tour had been axed at the last minute.
Sharon had planned to visit Helsinki, Oslo, and Copenhagen following the Stockholm launch, with the tour billed as a live on-stage interview event hosted by Danish model and actress Brigitte Nielsen. The shows were advertised with the promise of unfiltered honesty from the star, covering the highs and lows of her turbulent life.
What’s made the cancellation even more mysterious is the timing. Just hours earlier, Sharon took to Instagram to criticise Irish rap group Kneecap over their Coachella performance, where they showed a message in support of Palestine. The post sparked a wave of reaction online, but no hint that she was about to step away from a major tour.
At the moment, it’s believed Sharon is in the US, possibly with husband Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend, now 76, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease back in 2003 but only went public with his condition in 2020. He’s had multiple surgeries and ongoing medical treatment ever since.
Despite his health struggles, Ozzy is gearing up for one final farewell performance at Villa Park in Birmingham—his hometown—and Sharon is expected to be by his side for the emotional send-off.
She’s remained active on social media in recent weeks, sharing Easter wishes with fans and giving a few glimpses into their home life, which only makes the sudden tour cancellation all the more surprising.
With fans across Europe left disappointed and no clear explanation offered, many are now speculating whether something more serious is going on behind the scenes. For now, Sharon’s silence is only adding fuel to the fire.
