After climbing up the 2023 NFL Draft boards and giving the Houston Texans a lesser first round pick, those odds have gotten better after the Cleveland Browns lost to the Cincinnati Bengals. If the draft were today, the Texans would now hold the 12th overall pick after trading away quarterback Deshaun Watson this past offseason.
The Browns still have their second rounder, however, meaning they would first come on the clock with the 43rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft if the event were today. With four games left, and four favorable opponents (especially if Lamar Jackson does not play), that pick has the chance to sink into the 50s, however.
