A small village in the heart of England has a tasty celebrity secret - what Posh and Becks order when they go to the fish and chip shop. The world-famous couple have stopped by Willington, South Derbyshire, after watching their son Cruz play football at a nearby school on a few occasions.
And when they do - they always drop by The Chip Shop, owned by Graham Gibson, according to the 60-year-old, reports Staffordshire Live. He even managed to get a glowing review from the former pop star!
Graham said: "Victoria was sat in her car outside and a bloke came in and said 'do you realise you've got the Beckhams outside?' so I went outside after I'd served him and looked after the registration [number]. A woman walked past with her dog and said to me 'is that Victoria Beckham in that car?' and I still wasn't sure so knocked on her car window.
"She wound it down so I asked 'Is it Victoria?' and she replied 'yes'. So then I said 'would you do me a favour and write a review of the food you got from my chip shop?' and she responded 'of course I will', and she took a photo with the woman too.
"Victoria wrote 'Lovely chips, love Victoria x' then I asked her permission to put it in the shop because I was worried I'd get sued having a top model's review of chips. Victoria and David have been here about three times now. They usually buy chips, curry sauce and pop - I think. They're such lovely, down-to-earth people and I'd love them to come back again."
