As the cost of living crisis continues, things are pretty tight for people across Glasgow and the rest of the country.
And with energy bills remaining at an all time high, you may be one of millions looking for ways to reduce your spending. However, as chilly conditions continue, with a long way to go until winter is left behind, it can be tricky to keep warm without breaking the bank.
Experts are advising that 'heating the person' instead of 'heating the home' is one way to cut costs. So, we went for a nosey at a local Lidl store to see what we could find to help slash our monthly bill - and there were some great options.

Heated Airer
First of all we spotted a heated airer. The efficient addition to any home could help keep the heating off while trying to 'heat the person' to cut bills.
The airer is a great alternative to putting radiators on to dry clothes as well as helping you ditch your tumble dryer - often an expensive appliance when it comes to electricity use.
The airer has 18 heated bars in total, giving you 12 metres of drying space. It's lightweight and easy to move and can fold away easily to store when you are not using it.
It is also cost effective, running on 230 watts which means it will cost around 10p an hour to run.
It costs £49.99 and is available online and in store.
Silentnight Self Heating Mattress Topper
If you are feeling a little chilly at night amid the low temperatures this winter, the Silentnight Self Heating Mattress Topper may be a good buy.

Silentnight Winter Nights Duvet
Keeping cosy is bed is important, with temperatures dropping overnight.
And one way to keep warm is to wrap up in a thick duvet. So, the Silentnight Winter Nights Duvet could be a great purchase. Available in all bed sizes, you could grab one for all the family. Whether it be a single duvet for your wee ones or a king duvet for your own bed, the middle aisle addition could help 'heat the person'.
The product description reads: "The 13.5 tog rating is perfect for cold winter seasons and will help to keep you at a cosy and comfortable temperature for optimum sleep".
A single duvet it on sale in Lidl for £14.99, with a double and king duvet on sale for £19.99 and £24.99 respectively.
Silentnight Weighted Blanket
Weighing approximately 6.8kg, the Silentnight Weighted Blanket can keep you warm and reduce anxiety levels.
The blanket uses a so-called technique dubbed pressure touch to help relax the nervous system and boosting serotonin to help you sleep better.
There are also lighter, child versions available.
You can find the blanket in Lidl's middle aisle for £39.99.
