WATCH: Boston’s Jayson Tatum gets 38 points, 8 boards, 7 assists vs. Pels (1/29)

The Boston Celtics got back above .500 with a much-needed win over the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday night, and All-Star Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum was the team’s leading scorer in the win.

The St. Louis native led all scorers in fact, putting up 38 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in 37 minutes of playing time that saw Tatum shoot 17-of-26 from the floor, and 4-of-13 from beyond the arc while turning the ball over just twice and fouling three times in total.  A + 21 on the night, only Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III were on the court for more winning plays Saturday night.

Watch the clip embedded below put together by fan YouTuber Tomasz Kordylewski to see how the Duke product played against the Pelicans this weekend, whether for the first time or just to see it again.
