A Tennessee man with a warrant out for his arrest was taken into custody after taunting law enforcement on TikTok to "come find him," according to police.
Devon Bart, 25, had an active warrant related to a domestic assault incident involving his ex-girlfriend, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
Bart allegedly confronted the woman at her workplace, verbally attacked her, snatched her wallet, threw her debit card into a gutter and stole the keys to her rental car. Following the incident, authorities launched an investigation and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Rather than laying low, Bart reportedly posted photos and videos to social media—including TikTok—where he boldly challenged deputies to come and find him, stating he wouldn't turn himself in.
On Friday, deputies successfully located and arrested Bart without incident. He was booked into the Shelby County Jail. Bart now faces not only the original domestic-related charges but may also be under increased scrutiny for his behavior online, which drew additional attention to his case.
