As Bono turns 62 today, we're looking back on the time the U2 frontman was once asked to stop singing.
One popular city Dublin pub proudly asked Bono not to sing on their premises as it went against their rules. The U2 frontman was famously not exempt from the pub's no-singing stance.
Grogan's on South William Street insists that the same rules apply to everyone with President Michael D Higgins also being asked to leave.

Daniel Smith is the son of one of the pub's owners. He confirmed the urban rumours to Dublin Live.
The barman explained that inclusivity is important to the pub with the no-singing rule encouraging a rich storytelling tradition.
Daniel said: "“No matter where you come from or who you are- you’re always welcome.
"Bono was told to leave here one night because he wouldn’t stop singing."
Bono is celebrating his 62nd birthday today after surprising the Ukrainian people with a bomb shelter gig.
The frontman and The Edge played in Kyiv to show their support for Ukraine.
They had received an invite to play from President Volodymr Zelensky.
During a break, U2 singer Bono said: "The people in Ukraine are not just fighting for your own freedom, you are fighting for all of us who love freedom."
"We pray that you will enjoy some of that peace soon."
