Tired mum discovers 'life changing' 14p hack that helps toddler sleep all night

Getting your child to sleep through the night is a dilemma for tired parents, but one mum found an easy solution that worked a treat on her toddler.

A mum in the US called Allison shared the idea that finally helped the "worst sleeper" sleep. She introduced the video on her channel @__allysonnn by saying: "Parenting tricks I learned from TikTok that worked for us."

"First I'm going to do the one that was the most life changing," she continued. "I saw a video on TikTok of someone saying that if you give your baby a banana before bed, they will sleep through the night."

"And anyone that knows me knows that I've had the absolute worst sleeper since the day she was born,'' said Allison whilst her daughter chattered in the background. ''We are about eight months in and she sleeps through the night.''

Other sleepless parents desperate for help rushed to give thanks for the tip. One wrote on the app: ''This can also help with growing pains which is also intense for young children.''

A second TikToker then said: ''Omg I feel like the lord just answered my prayers directly!!!!''

''Ok buying bananas tomorrow! My daughter is the worst sleeper as well,'' added another on TikTok. And another chimed in with: "My favorite parenting tiktok hack has been the "when...then..." trick. "when your shoes are on, then you may have your snack" works like a charm.''
