Three Cineworld venues across Glasgow are at risk of closure after the major cineman chain filed for bankruptcy.
The Renfrew Street, Parkhead and Silverburn cinema all feature in the list of cinemas at risk. Cineworld filed for bankruptcy in the US last year, with the company stating they have been approached by a "number" of potential buyers intersted in a takeover, reports the Mirror.
However, the potential suitors are reportedly not willing to pay in cash for the whole business - which languishes £5billion in debt - leaving the future of the chain uncertain.

The financial issues leaves all venues across the UK in doubt, with three Glasgow cinemas facing potential closure.
The city centre cinema on Renfrew Street is known by locals and tourists alike, with the 62m (203 ft) high building a real eye catcher as the current tallest cinema in the world. The iconic multiplex theatre in the, has dominated the city's skyline since it opened in 2001.
The Parkhead cinema and Silverburn shopping centre venue also face uncertainty, with jobs at risk across the board.
Cineworld continues to operate all venues as usual as the company battles to recover from the impact of the pandemic, which saw footfall plummet to zero before limiting traffic for months.
