Meal prepping has just become a whole lot easier and even more delicious. A fitness vlogger has recently shared a viral hack she learned to make meal prepping breakfast even better.
Meal prepping is a great way to plan out your meals for the week and is especially handy when it comes to ensuring you’re eating enough calories and getting in all the nutrients your body needs.

TikToker @kikicooksfood has shared the ultimate breakfast meal prepping hack to make sure you’ve a nutritious meal in your tummy before heading out the door first thing in the morning.
In a video that now has over 1 million views, Kiki says after she watched someone making frozen pancakes, she decided to give it a try and was ‘mind blown’ by the results.
The fitness vlogger filled an ice cube tray she bought from Amazon with her protein pancake mix and topped it off with fruit.
Kiki said the method to make these pancakes is simple - after leaving the mix in the freezer overnight, pop your pancake cubes on a hot pan to fry the pancakes as normal.
Once the mix is half way melted, give your pancake a flip.
“That’s it. It’s so easy and so quick. It’s amazing and tastes so good.
“I really recommend you try this recipe,” she urged her followers.
Kiki's recipe is as followed:
Ingredients (for 4 pancakes)
- 50g self raising flour
- 1 scoop protein
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg white
- 20g sweetener
- 150ml almond milk (consistency should be like cake batter)
- Toppings are optional- can use coconut shavings, berries, chocolate, apple etc.
- Macros 290 calories, 41g carbs, 3g fat, 24g protein
