A huge 200ft Mega Slide, which is the UK's longest, is set to open. It has taken nearly two months to complete and is powered by a super slip-inducing solution to propel riders down at speeds of over 12 miles per hour.
The towering new slide is based at The National Forest Adventure Farm, in Burton-on-Trent, which takes around two hours to drive from Bristol. This new attraction will open in time for the summer holidays.
Suitable for anyone over 90cm, thrill-seekers who visit will also be able to enjoy the park's jumping pillows, musical maze, and go-karts.

Ivor Robinson owns The National Forest Adventure Farm with his brother Tom told Birmingham Live it was a unique chance to offer something different to guests: "Since we started the farm park in 2011, we have always been keen to offer families somewhere fun and exciting to enjoy outdoor activities together.
"This year we looked at what we could bring that would complement the existing attractions at the farm but offer something a bit unique in the UK.
"The Mega Slide is a great thrill-seeking activity which hasn’t traditionally been available outside of large ski slope attractions. There is nowhere else in the UK you can experience this tube sliding fun and we are so pleased to be able to welcome families this summer to enjoy something different in the Staffordshire sun."
Find out more and book tickets via the National Forest Adventure Farm Park website. Admission tickets include access to activities across the park. The Mega Slide is charged at £1 a go, or you can buy a ticket for unlimited use for £5. Height restrictions apply.
