The shops, restaurants and cafes open in Cardiff today

With today, Monday, September 19, being a momentous historical occasion and a bank holiday as the country prepares to say a final farewell to the Queen, many businesses will close or operate at reduced hours.

Britain's longest-reigning monarch died at Balmoral on Thursday, September 8. She will be laid to rest at a service at Westminster Abbey where thousands of guests will be part of the congregation, including a whole host of Welsh people.

While Queen Elizabeth II's State Funeral is a bank holiday for the vast majority of the country, it seems there are a few restaurants, cafes and other establishments still open where you can get a coffee fix, pick up your prescription or make a toast to the late Queen.
