Virgin Media’s The Restaurant is set to return with six new familiar faces taking to the celebrity kitchen.
The brand new series will see the novice cooks try their best to impress judges Marco Pierre White and Rachel Allen with their dream menu.
This year boast a varied line up of familiar faces with Leinster and Ireland Rugby legend Devin Toner, Young Offenders and ‘Holding’ star Demi Isaac Oviawe, Dublin GAA Legend Philly McMahon, RTE broadcaster and social media star Doireann Garrihy, Olympic Silver Medallist and World Champion rower Gary O’Donovan and Comedian Deirdre O’Kane all stepping up to the plate as they aim to impress.

With the influence of ‘home’ on the menu, each celebrity will swap their day jobs for oven gloves as they cook up a meal that reminds them of their roots.
While the diners eat and critique their menu, they must guess who it could be behind the kitchen doors.
Rugby legend Devin Toner is kicking it all off this season, with the first episode on Tuesday whilst Demi Isaac Oviawe, GAA legend Philly McMahon, RTE’s Doireann Garrihy, Deirdre O’Kane and champion tower Gary O’Donovan take on the challenge later on in the series.
‘The Restaurant’ returns Tuesday, 27th September at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
