The Oregon duck mascot suffered through 546 push-ups after team scored 81 points

Puddles the Oregon duck mascot got a heck of a workout in during its team’s 81-7 home domination of Portland State on Saturday.

As the Ducks got the seasons started off on the right foot, Puddles wound up drawing the short end of the stick as its push-ups and touchdowns agreement as it backfired spectacularly.

As Oregon scored a whopping 81 points in the game, Puddles had to do push-ups for every point amount throughout the contest when Oregon would score a touchdown.

By day’s end, Puddles had to do 81 push-ups to signify the final score, which put the poor mascot at a truly outrageous 546 push-ups for the day.

The poor mascot literally fell over pooped by the last push-up, which is just way too much for a poor person in a giant duck costume in summer weather.

We’re really not sure how Puddles made it through these push-ups without throwing in the towel, and we’re confident that the person in the duck costume was the hardest-working Oregon Duck on Saturday afternoon.

Rest well on Sunday, Puddles, and try to avoid doing any extra push-ups.
