When Nottingham Forest kicked off 2022 they were ninth in the Championship and one of at least 14 teams with designs on a Premier League place.
Fast forward a tumultuous 11 months and they have won the Championship play-off final, signed enough players to complete their own World Cup squad and hauled themselves off the foot of the Premier League table after an understandably disjointed start to 2022-23.
