The ‘Destiny 2’ God Roll Dares Of Eternity Weapons You Should Be Farming For

Destiny 2 Bungie

Well, Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Event arrived in Destiny 2 with quite a bit more weapons than anyone was expecting. As such, you can now farm Dares of Eternity endlessly for six different weapons. There’s no way to target farm them, but you’re guaranteed at least one weapon per run, if not more, so you’ll start racking them up in short order.

These include all of Destiny 2’s new Halo tribute weapons, plus ones from Marathon and Pathways Into Darkness. Here are the god rolls for these six weapons you should be keeping an eye out for, which include a lot of new perks added just as of this event.

BXR-55 Battler (Solar Pulse Rifle)

Destiny 2 Bungie

Outlaw/Kill Clip – A traditional pairing for a very non-traditional weapon, one of the most unique in Destiny history, given how much it aims to emulate Halo’s battle rifle.

Perpetual Motion/Rangefinder – This is my PvP roll, and Perpetual Motion is a new more or less always active perk that I cannot get enough of.

Perpetual Motion/Kill Clip or Adrenaline Junkie – If you want damage instead, and Adrenaline Junkie is actually better now after the buff, though mainly for PvE

Snapshot or Perpetual Motion/Elemental Capacitor – You like stats? Give yourself all the stats with these rolls.

Blunt Execution Rounds – This is a weird perk I am actually not recommending at this point, because damaging an enemy with melee for a short damage buff really doesn’t seem great on a pulse rifle, but maybe I’m missing something.

Wastelander M5 (Kinetic Shotgun)

Destiny 2 Bungie

Perpetual Motion/Killing Wind – Just a fun, rampage around the arena style combo that will make you feel like the Doom Slayer.

Subsistence/Killing Wind – These two pair together well also, given the synergy on kill.

Perpetual Motion/Harmony or One Two Punch or Trench Barrel – These are your “going for big damage” options, which I maintain are still good to pair with Perpetual Motion.

Slideshot/Opening Shot – For your Crucible needs.

Retraced Path (Solar Trace Rifle)

Destiny 2 Bungie

Genesis/Disruption Break – A “utility” style combo for the new trace rifle where you can either refill your mag on shield break to keep firing or swap to something else for higher damage.

Subsistence/Harmony – Harmony does big damage on Retraced Path here, don’t underestimate it.

Subsistence or Feeding Frenzy/One for All or Golden Tricorn – One for All is easier to trigger on a Trace compared to most other weapons. Golden Tricon is an interesting new perk that will give you a big damage boost on ability damage.

Subsistence/Demolitionist – Now that most grenade cooldowns are higher, demo is more valuable than ever, so use it for damage plus ability refill with this roll.

Pardon Our Dust (Kinetic Breach Grenade Launcher)

Destiny 2 Bungie

Pulse Monitor/Rampage or Vorpal or Demolitionist – Pulse Monitor now triggers all the time, even if your weapon is stowed, so it’s essentially a better version of autoloading holster on a grenade launcher like this. Autoloading itself is also a good backup choice.

Ambitious Assassin/Rampage – A more traditional pairing which will get you two in the chamber all the time, plus a damage boost.

Ensemble/Vorpal – If you’re planning to stand around doing secondary boss DPS with this and spike grenades, go nuts. Also keep in mind there’s a modifier in Dares of Eternity that boosts grenade launcher damage, so you might want this roll just for those days.

Half Truths (Arc Sword)

Destiny 2 Bungie

Anything/Eager Edge – Eager Edge is probably the most insane new perk in this update because it essentially has brought back sword skating. Like seriously, just watch this video:

Duelist’s Trance/Harmony or En Garde – If you don’t care as much about flying through the air, here’s a solid roll for just damage. The new Duelist’s Trance perk gives you bonus charge rate, efficiency and defense after a sword kill until you switch off it.

The Other Half (Void Sword)

Relentless/Whirlwind or Vorpal – Well, as you can see, I don’t even have a photo of this other sword because I haven’t gotten a single one yet, which seems insane. But if I did, I’d want this damage roll, even though both Whirlwind and Vorpal got nerfed in the last patch.

Eager Edge/Whirlwind or Vorpal - This sword can also roll with Eager Edge, though in the non-damage slot, so you can pair it with something better than Half Truths.
