A number of leading supermarkets including Tesco and Sainsbury's are urging customers to return certain products to their store of purchase, after safety fears have arisen.
In the case of a product recall, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) issue details on what to do should you have purchased an affected product, as well as info on the reasoning behind the recall itself.
In recent weeks, Tesco, Iceland, Sainsbury's and Waitrose have all recalled items - with customers urged not to consume but instead return the items to the store for a full refund. You also do not require a receipt to obtain a refund.

Quorn Swedish Style Balls
Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Waitrose have issued recall notices for Quorn Foods' Frozen Quorn Swedish Style Balls, as packs may contain small pieces of plastic. The possible presence of plastic makes the product unsafe to eat and presents a potential choking hazard.
Quorn said: "If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, no receipt is required. If you would like any further information, please contact Quorn Customer Services at customer.services@quornfoods.com or 0345 602 9000".

Diced Chicken Breast
Iceland has recalled its Cooked Diced Chicken Breast because some packs may contain uncooked chicken. The possible presence of raw, uncooked chicken makes this product unsafe to eat.
If you have bought the item do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further details, please contact Iceland Customer Care on 0800 328 0800 and select option 2.

The affected product is as follows:
- Tesco Creamfields grated cheddar 500g
- Best before date: 23/03/23
Shoppers who have the affected batch are urged: "Please do not consume this product and instead return any affected product to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required."
