Tesco has made a major change to its Clubcard today.
From today, November 14, shoppers will only be able to redeem Tesco Clubcard points at their face value as changes are made to how the loyalty scheme works. Until now, shoppers had been able to triple their points when using them to purchase ‘Delivery Saver’ plans.
Before the change, every 50p in Clubcard vouchers could be redeemed to get £1.50 off a delivery package when converting points to spend at a ‘Rewards Partner’. However, this has changed as of today, reports the Mirror .

Previously, Clubcard members were able to get a 12-month anytime home delivery pass that normally costs £83.88 for £27.96 when they converted and used their points. Now they’ll have to pay the full £83.88.
Shoppers will also have to pay the full £14.94 price for a six-month click and collect pass, which previously cost them £4.98. The supermarket sent out an email early last month warning shoppers about imminent changes.
According to Tesco, shoppers that transferred their Clubcard points into vouchers before the change will keep their triple value, even after November 14. You have six months from the date you get the vouchers to redeem them.
