A number of retailers have recently announced their festive plans with many opting to remain either closed or open the day after December 25.
Supermarkets such as Aldi will see their stores closed on December 26 in order to give its staff a well deserved break.
However other supermarkets such as Morrisons, Lidl, Tesco and Sainsbury's will be remaining open - though times may vary at your local store.

So which shops and supermarkets will you not be able to visit this Boxing Day? Here's the full list of retailers who will remain shut on on December 26 so far...
Aldi
Aldi confirmed it will close on Boxing Day to give its staff a well deserved break. Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK, said: “Our amazing colleagues play a vital role in keeping our shelves stocked year-round which is why, once again, we’ll also be keeping our stores closed on Boxing Day as a thank you for all of their hard work.”

Waitrose
All Waitrose stores will be closed on Boxing Day. The supermarket giant however highlighted that a few sites at petrol stations may still be open. They say: "On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, our stores will be closed with the exception of those in Welcome Break motorway service stations and Shell forecourts – some of which will be open 24 hours."
John Lewis
This year, John Lewis will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Iceland and The Food Warehouse
Both retailers announced they will be closed on Boxing Day this year. Richard Walker, Iceland's managing director, took to Twitter to share the news stating: "We'll be closing all our Iceland and Food Warehouse stores on Boxing Day, to give our colleagues a well-earned rest with their friends & families."
Poundland
Poundland will close all its stores on Boxing Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day to give its staff a well-deserved break.
Home Bargains
Home Bargains has confirmed it will close all of its branches for Boxing Day to allow staff to enjoy the festivities with their loved ones. In a statement posted on Facebook, Home Bargains said: "All of our stores will be closing for Boxing Day and New Year's Day. We would like to thank all our staff for how hard you have worked this past year, and want you to relax and enjoy the Christmas break with your loved ones"
