With Christmas just weeks away, yes really, many people will now be planning their festive shop as many stock up the freezer.
But whilst it's one thing to plan what to buy, it's another thing to plan when to get the food shop done and minds turn to the opening hours of their local stores.
Many retailers have already announced that they will be closed on Boxing Day this year to thank staff for their hard work - a move welcomed by colleagues and customers alike. Iceland earlier confirmed Boxing Day closures, with the supermarket's managing director making the announcement on Twitter stating: he has made the decision to give "colleagues a well-deserved rest with their friends and families".
