Superdrug shoppers raving over £10 Bobbi Brown primer 'dupe' that makes face 'glow'

Calling all skincare lovers, there is a new 'dupe' for the iconic Bobbi Brown Face Base in Superdrug that is virtually identical and almost £40 cheaper.

Bobbi Brown's Face Base has become a cult-hit among beauty fans and celebrities alike, but at £49 for a 50ml tub, many are always on the hunt for similar products that won't break the bank.

Luckily Superdrug is one of the latest retailers to stock a 'dupe' for the primer, with the £10 Revolution Super Vitamin Base Primer that contains nearly all the same ingredients as its pricier counterpart.

It's not the first 'dupe' of the bestselling Face Base Primer to hit the beauty market recently, as both Aldi and Primark have also launched their own versions which have been a hit with shoppers.

Named the number one moisturiser on the Bobbi Brown website, the £49 Face Base is a lightweight formula that is enriched with a blend of vitamins and moisturising ingredients to prep the skin for a healthy, fresh glow.

The Revolution Super Vitamin Base Primer, also a moisturising primer, contains five out of the six ingredients that make up the bestselling product all for the price of just £10 - saving shoppers £39.

Both products contains vitamins B, C,E, alongside shea butter and hyaluronic acid to nourish and hydrate the skin during the day, making it perfect as a moisturiser, or a primer for your makeup.

The only major difference we could find is that the Bobbi Brown Face Base contains squalane, an ingredient used in skincare to prevent moisture loss and restore suppleness.

With the Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer being so similar for a fraction of the cost, it is no wonder that 98 percent of Superdrug shoppers like it and have left glowing five-star reviews.

One shopper said of the primer: "Read reviews in a magazine, decided to buy, usually use Bobbi Brown primer. Is creamy smells lovely leaves my skin soft and hydrated good base for foundation would buy again."

A second five-star review read: "I love this product very like the Bobby Brown. Will be placing an order for 2 more so I can have some extra in my makeup room."

A third added: "Really love this primer and I’ve tried so many. It’s thicker than face cream but doesn’t feel heavy. Melts into skin and keeps my makeup in place. Plus added skincare benefits. Gives me a lovely glow. Will definitely buy again."

A fourth wrote: "This primer has changed my life. It is so hydrating and such a good product to use as a skin care. Love it. It's 10/10."

The Revolution Super Vitamin Base Base Primer can be purchased from £10 on the Superdrug website. It can also be purchased for £9.99 on the Revolution Beauty website.
