An Edinburgh marine biologist consultant has captured breathtaking footage of Saughton Park - but not as you have seen it before.
The mesmerising video of Saughton Park from the sky was captured by Jacco Veenboer, 51, and was shot via his DJI Mini 3 Pro drone.
Unbelievably this was only the second time that the amateur videographer had used a drone to film.

Jacco stays just a five minute walk from the park and decided to share his amazing video with the Facebook group ‘Friends of Saughton Park.’
The footage captures various elements of the park and has also been shared on YouTube as well as with Edinburgh Live.
On filming the video of his local park, Jacco said: “I stay very local, about five minutes walk from the park.
“Saughton Park is my nearest green space, about five minutes from my house. So, it's very convenient to get there.
“It has a lot of potential nice features to film and there is a lot of space around to fly the drone safely.
“I had a walk around the park first, to decide on what would be nice to try and capture that evening.
“I quickly decided on the band stand as the main feature of interest for this clip, as it is located nicely in the centre of the park, and there is a good open space next to it to safely lift off from and land the drone again.
“The filming itself took no longer than 20 minutes, or so. I edited the clip the same evening.”
Jacco says that he enjoys the variety that the park offers.
He continued: “During the various lockdowns over the past two years, I had to work from home and I became a very regular visitor during my breaks from work, just to get out of the house a bit during the day.
“The gardens are well maintained and there is something of interest throughout each season.
“It is also very good for a bit of wildlife spotting, including foxes, otters and kingfishers, all of which can be spotted along the little stretch of the Water of Leith which borders the park.”
The videoclip is Jacco’s first foray into the world of youtube and he says that he is enjoying his new drone flying hobby greatly.
