Lack of physical activity

If you sit for hours and do not take time for exercise or walking, then this habit can slowly raise your blood pressure. Daily physical activity such as brisk walking, cycling or yoga controls blood pressure. A minimum of 30 minutes of daily activity keeps the heart healthy.

Eating more processed and junk food

Lack of it, and proper sleep is also a direct reason for high blood pressure. 7 to 8 hours of sleep should be taken daily so that both body and mind can rest properly. Disturbances in sleep release stress hormones, which raise the blood pressure.

Excessive worrying, exposure to work stress or stress at home also welcomes high blood pressure. Meditation, deep breathing, music therapy reduce stress.

Excessive drinking and smoking

Smoking constricts blood vessels, reducing the flow of blood and causing blood pressure to rise. Heavy drinking also puts extra workload on the heart. Quitting these habits is crucial to prevent high blood pressure.
