A traditional Stockport boozer has gone viral on Facebook - with a video showing regulars living their very best life on a Tuesday night. The Chestergate Pub in Stockport reguarly shares videos of Tuesday and Friday karaoke nights on their Facebook page, as well as other regular theme nights they hold.
But the pub's managers have been stunned by the reaction to one of their most recent videos, entitled: "Oooh it's Tuesday choose your own Tuesday". It shows a typical scene of regulars having fun at the pub, including Dennis having a dance and lifting up his red t-shirt to show his belly button.
Then there's 84-year-old Molly chatting to a young man by the bar, before showing off her dance moves with a shimmy in her glam black fringed dress. The packed pub sees revellers dancing and singing along to The Four Tops' classic I Can't Help Myself and generally looking like they're having the best time ever.

Pub manager Steph Armstrong, 34, has been stunned by the reaction to the video - after realising this week that it had seen by over 1million people after she posted it a fortnight ago. It has been liked and shared by thousands, with many hailing The Chestergate the "best pub on earth" thanks to its feelgood vibes.
The pub is right in the heart of Stockport Town Centre - opposite the iconic Stockport Plaza theatre. Steph and partner Adam Kidd took over The Chestergate in April and started posting the videos to show people the fun in store inside the pub.
She said: "We try and do live feeds and a bit of insight into what goes in the pub, and show everyone enjoying themselves. But we couldn't believe it when we saw this one had reached over a million people.
"There's quite a lot of regulars here, they're just a really lovely bunch. It's like a little community pub, they're all friends and there's a lovely atmosphere where everyone sings and dances and feels safe and happy."
The video has had a huge reaction on Facebook, with people saying the scenes of people enjoying themselves have thoroughly cheered them up.
Mavrock Shim said: "Proper pub! Love places like this where the locals have a great time." Anthony Macca said simply: "Best pub in the world".
Sam Harris said: "Fab what we all need on a boring Tuesday look like a good bunch and a good laugh."
Gemma Barlow said: "They are thoroughly living their best life and it's heart warming to watch". Melvyn Osabu added: "Love seeing this let them have their fun too much misery going on in this country recently crack on."
Others loved seeing the little details among the revellers that make it such a relatable scene. Beverley Davies said: "I laughed at the lady in the beautiful black dress the label was hanging outside the back that's something that would happen to me good on her."
Alistair Flaherty said: "Stockport's finest, lad at bar has pulled grab ya coat lad."
John Spiers pointed out: "If that's a Tuesday, it must be wild at the weekend."
The Mersey Square pub holds karoke nights from 2pm to 8pm every Tuesday and 2pm to 10pm on Fridays. Then on the first Saturday of every month they plan special theme nights - including recently a Northern Soul night, a beach party and rock 'n' roll night.
Steph, who is originally from Stockport, said it was a joy to return to her hometown to run a pub and see so many regulars and friendly faces since they took over. She said: "As I'm from Stockport myself I know a lot of the regulars, a lot of them are lifelong friends and it's just really nice to have a pub in my hometown."
