Where’s your oxter, lug, ee and neb on your body?
The kids at Springholm nursery certainly know the answer after their fun Scots language week.
Manager Rosemary Jackson decided to do the project following the national Census, which asked questions on people’s use and understanding of Scots.
She said: “We decided to use this as an inspiration to find out about traditional Scots names for parts of our bodies and animals through stories, songs and rhymes.
“We drew around Innis and labelled the body parts on our outline of Gregor.
“Even better, our week was finished with mince and tatties for lunch!”
