A dog walker was "throttled" by an angry BMW driver during a road rage incident. The victim engaged in a verbal altercation with the driver before he was reportedly assaulted.
The victim was walking his dog in Wotton-under-Edge, in the Cotswolds, when a car sped past them at around 4pm on Wednesday (June 14). He was shocked by the speed the car was driving at so "shouted some choice words" at the man behind the wheel.
However, the driver got out of his car, reported to be a white BMW, then pushed and grabbed the dog walker by the neck. He is said to have suffered scratches and bruising in the assault.

The offender's daughter was reportedly in the car and was left shocked. She said: "Dad, what are you doing?"
The victim said in a post on the Facebook group Wotton Noticeboard: "He reversed, got out of the car, pushed me into the hedge, against a wall, and grabbed me by the neck, with all of his weight on me, as he started to throttle me. He took my phone from me and left scratches and what appears to initially be bruising around my neck."
The BMW driver then fled the scene at "high speeds" once again, heading downhill and into a bend. The victim says Harry was "sick" after the incident.
Police are now keen to hear from anyone with information on what happened. They are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
Gloucestershire Police said in a statement: "Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed what happened or has dashcam footage is asked to make contact. The vehicle was white and possibly a BMW. Information can be provided to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 511 of 14 June."
