A special evening of prayers will be held tomorrow evening for missing woman Bernadette Connolly who has not been seen for two weeks.
Bernadette, 45, from Swords in north county Dublin, went missing 13 days ago today and was last seen on Donabate beach at around 12.30pm on Friday, January 7.
Earlier that same day she was spotted on Swords Main Street at 11.36pm and once again at the Shoreline Hotel in Donabate at 11.58pm.
Bernadette took a taxi to get to the hotel, it emerged during the week.
Her heartbroken daughter Jade, who has been searching extensively for her mum, informed her followers on social media that the taxi driver who dropped her mam to Donabate made contact following an appeal.
And according to the taxi driver, Bernadette told him that she was meeting a friend on the beach the day she went missing.
Now, two weeks on, as Bernadette’s heartbroken daughter and family continue with their search, a special service to pray for Bernadette to be brought home to her family will take place on Friday evening at St Cronan’s Church on the Brackenstown Road in Swords.
People are being invited to light a candle in the church from 6pm while prayers and reflections will take place from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
The special service is also available to be viewed online on Brackenstown Parish website.
