The West Country looks set for a week full of sunshine next week, according to the forecast from the Met Office. Temperatures could reach as high as the mid-twenties, though some days might be cloudier than others and the odd shower could be possible here and there.
UV and pollen levels look set to be in the 'Very High' range, so be sure to stock up on allergy tablets and sun cream. And next weekend is forecast to be the hottest time of the week, especially for Bristol where temperatures could reach as high as 27C.
Gloucestershire could also see highs of 27C, particularly on Friday (June 17), though Somerset is forecast to be slightly cooler, with highs of 22C. In the South West temperatures have to be higher than 26C, part from Gloucester where they must be higher than 27C, to qualify as a heatwave and it looks as though plenty of places in Gloucestershrie and Bristol will be although only just.
