A US operator of flexible workspace has opened its first UK hub - in a football stadium.
California-based Werqwise has teamed up with National League club Solihull Moors to repurpose its matchday hospitality area as new co-working space.
That area in the club's ARMCO Arena stadium has been recently refurbished and now offers people the chance to drop in and work from a flexible hub and private meeting spaces with an outdoor area overlooking the main pitch.
Part of the space will continue to operate as a hospitality suite on match days.
Werqwise currently runs operations in San Francisco and San Mateo but had been looking for somewhere to launch a UK presence.
Solihull Moors chairman Darryl Eales said: "I am delighted to have opened the Werqwise space at our ground. The concept of working in flexible office space is becoming ever more popular and I'm thrilled to have joined forces with Werqwise to convert much of our space into this facility.
"We have had significant interest in the space and have some key companies already signed up to use our offices and the lounge on a regular basis. It should make for a great networking facility and opportunity in itself.
"It's been a pleasure working with Werqwise to bring the space to life at the ARMCO Arena and I am looking forward to seeing it brimming with business, as well as, of course, welcoming fans on match days."
